Thermocouple Heads Castings are used to monitor temperatures for heat treating, salt baths, casting, or hot dip galvanizing. They also have a unique 90° bend. Angle thermocouples have a single metal protection tube. Thermocouple Heads Castings are a sensor for measuring temperature. This sensor consists of two dissimilar metal wires, joined at one end, and connected to a thermocouple thermometer or other thermocouple-capable device at the other end. It provides a protected, clean area for mounting a terminal block or transmitter as part of the transition from temperature sensor assembly to lead wire.
